To Mercury: A Big F U

Dear Mercury:

I’ve had ENOUGH of your bullshit. You’ve done nothing this year besides cause  havoc, and I for one am not putting up with it. It has been a v taxing year–we’ve had to deal with political nonsense, cultural nonsense, social nonsense, the list goes on. But on top of all of this, you still had to give in to gravitational pull, and reverse, thus throwing all of us in for MULTIPLE loops. And not only did you do this multiple times, but you just happened to choose to do it in conjunction with a major solar eclipse and a super full moon? Are you good? Do you realize what this does to us? Is this how you get your laughs? If so, you can retrograde all the way out of this solar system.  I am sure Stephen Hawking can steer you in the right direction. I mean poor Pluto, who has done nothing wrong, isn’t even a planet anymore, and here you are, closest planet to the sun, causing all of this ~drama.~ Maybe I’ll start a campaign to trade  Mercury for Pluto.

You MUST be aware that it is 2017 2018, and our level and quality of communication are already weak, lost in translation, and simply bad. We have so many ways to be connected, but we’re not. T’is the holiday season where one may actually try to connect to someone, yet here you are. Spinning backwards and blocking everyone’s flow. Thank goodness Christmas didn’t fall in your retrograde window. Do you want us to isolate ourselves? Do you enjoy making me wonder if what I am saying is understood by those to whom I am speaking? Does amplifying my anxiety give you a kick? And, even when retrograde is over, I still have to deal with the lasting effects of retroshade. Excuse me? Retroshade? Like it hasn’t already been one big cluster. The astrologers say this is a time of “re”-reflect, reasses, realign, etc. But the only re I’ve encountered is re-do because nothing went right the first time. (okay there has been a lot of reflecting, whoopee…actually it probably needed to happen but timing was not ideal)

In summary, I’m REalizing (ayyyy) that I cannot view life as the spaces in between Mercury retrograde. As much as I sincerely view it as a rationale REason for many occurences, becoming obsessed is not a good look. Mercury, you’re unwelcome and just know when retrograde rolls around again, there’s a collective middle finger in your direction, with a crystal cluster in the other hand.
